Can the dermatologist find a way to...?

know for sure if he can help you out,

ive been tanning for a long time now, but i need help with stopping, and the only way i will stop is to go to the doctor to get my face back to normal. from tanning my cheeks, nose, under my eyebrows, and a lil part of my face have peeled and are just like that, have been for a long time now.and i%26#039;m sick of it, do you think that it can be fixed. can the doctor know if it can be fixed or not. do you know how much that kind of stuff costs, and will it be more if i dont have insurance anymore, my dad doesnt have the money for it and now that i%26#039;m not going to college now, they dont insure me if i dont go to school. i need help, wat do i do?|||Try a few things yourself to start with.

Dry skin 鈥?Try using a moisturizer that contains at least one of the following ingredients: glycerin, urea, pyroglutamic acid, sorbitol, lactic acid, lactate salts or alpha-hydroxy acids.. Avoid hot baths or hot showers, because these can make your sun-damaged skin even drier. Wash only with warm or cool water, using soap that either has a high fat content or contains glycerin.

Some treatments...

Treating Sun Damage

The appropriate sun damage treatment for you will depend on:

* the severity of your sun damage

* the type of sun damage you have (i.e. sun spots, dry skin).

Here are some of the most common treatments for sun damage. Your doctor can recommend which treatment is best for you. Sun damage treatments include:

* cosmetic procedures, such as microdermabrasion, to reduce fine lines and neutralize discolored skin

* laser treatments to eliminate sun spots

...You need to ask your doctor%26#039;s advice if the self treatments don;t improve your skin. I don%26#039;t suppose there is a 100% guarantee with any professional treatment, but your doctor is in the best position to advise you.
