Why did my dermatologist make sexual advances at me?

Firstly im 25 and hes about 55, Ive been going to him since i was 15, hes always been a professional-great dermatologist.. So I told him i was interested in getting breast implants and if he could reccomend anyone, he says %26quot;I tell all my escorts to go to this doctor i know%26quot;, I said excuse me? He said %26quot;i have escorts i use who want bigger breasts and i send them to this doctor i know%26quot;

Then he says to me well you have nice breasts, their not big like grapefruits but their nice.

he also told me im 25 and have hit middle age and that im getting old and also that i dont look like i weigh 115 lbs i look like im 130 lbs, I had to write my weight down, and i am 115.

I felt really shocked and then blame myself for asking about the breast implants, maybe its my fault, he thought i was a bimbo?

Why would a doctor who i have been going to since i was 15 do this?

A long time ago he asked me if i shaved everything because i had a hernia he had to remove, i thought it was a weird question but brushe dit aside.|||That%26#039;s not a sexual advance. It doesn%26#039;t sound at all unreasonable or unprofessional. You did ask him about implants, so he%26#039;s talking to you about whether you should get them and what other plastic surgery you might be interested in. Dermatologists particularly deal with appearance issues, so that%26#039;s all shop talk as far as he%26#039;s concerned. As far as the escort thing goes, I think the way he looks at it is that escorts are %26quot;pros%26quot; so any doc that they use must be pretty good. It%26#039;s like referring you to a mechanic that race car drivers use.|||yuk, i%26#039;m not a doctor, but what does dermatology have to do with implants ?|||You%26#039;re the one who brought up the subject of breast implants to a dermatologist. It%26#039;s not like he randomly commented on it. Not to mention, he%26#039;s known you for 10 years, so he felt %26#039;familiar%26#039; enough with you to talk about things like this in a %26#039;matter of fact%26#039; and straightforward manner. And as far as the weight issue...it was only an insult because YOU took it that way. He was merely stating an observation.|||since dermatologists don%26#039;t repair hernias, it%26#039;s obvious that most of what you%26#039;ve said isn%26#039;t true.

sad troll

try again. dermatologists don%26#039;t repair hemorrhoids, either.|||Honestly, It doesn%26#039;t sound like he did or said anything unprofessional. I guess it would depend on how he said it, but it doesnt sound like he did anything wrong, nor you. You asked about implants, and he gave you a referral and said you had nice breasts, which many doctors would say if they did not feel you needed the surgery. Since you have been seeing him so long, he might be concerned about where you are carrying your weight. Your metabolism will begin to slow after 25-30, so it is time to focus on your health. Also, dermatologists are for skin conditions and rashes, limit your visits to him for that and see a protologist if you have a problem with hemeroids again. The best way to find a surgeon is through referrals of people you know who had them and were satisfied with their work, or find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and see his or her work. That is how I found mine,

http://www.drabramson.com/|||because he%26#039;s a creepy unprofessional doctor, and should be reported. you family has the right to be upset, he shouldn%26#039;t talk to any patients like that. Your question for a plastic surgeon referral was justified and he could have gave you a name without any of his personal business.|||I can understand asking a trusted medical professional to refer you to another physician, many people do that, and experts always say to ask your doctor to send you to someone they think is good. There is no reason for him to discuss your weight or to insult you. It%26#039;s not okay that he took you asking his opinion as a reason to talk about his opinion of your breasts, the breasts of his escorts, etc. It wasn%26#039;t a sexual advance, but it was nasty and creepy. I%26#039;ve never heard of a dermatologist doing anything with hemorrhoids or hernias, so that makes me doubt your story. Dermatologists deal only with the skin, he has no reason to deal with your butt, unless you%26#039;ve got a nasty rash there. If this did happen to you, I%26#039;m really sorry you had to go through it, but no one can read this sick man%26#039;s mind to know why he would do such a thing. Just find a new doctor and stop dealing with him altogether. I don%26#039;t know that you would be able to report him, due the fact that it would be your word against his. if this hasn%26#039;t actually happened, what%26#039;s your point in even bringing this up?
