So I was reading and researching about opening and closing your pores and I would like to ask a question about it o.o (sorry this might be long :/)
So far, I%26#039;ve read that pores DO NOT open and close because they have no muscles controlling their enclosing, so obviously the myth of warm/hot water opening your pores and cold water closing your pores is untrue right? And Toners are meant for closing your pores? (correct me if I%26#039;m wrong about Toners, I don%26#039;t use them at all) But if you can%26#039;t close your pores, then are Toners unnecessary and not useful? Also, I learned that your pores only LOOK open to your eyes, but they%26#039;re not, its just the dirt and stuff that%26#039;s in the pore, so how do you get all that nasty stuff out? O:
I am not trying to make a point here, I am just simply asking if a Toner is needed. I%26#039;m making my Christmas list and I%26#039;m deciphering if I should get a Toner :D thank you for your time%26lt;3|||I don%26#039;t know whether or not a toner is needed, but you are correct... Pores do not open or close. This is a very very common acne myth.
Another acne myth is that food and soda doesn%26#039;t cause acne. But here%26#039;s the deal, soda definitely causes dehydration and dehydration definitely causes acne.
So I guess you could say, soda is an indirect cause of acne. I know I went off topic here, but I guess the point is to never believe what %26quot;they%26quot; tell you.|||Toner improves the TONE of your skin. and biore has a bunch of pore tightening/closing products
