I need to know what to ask a dermatologist to get the most out of my visit. I have fairly oily skin especially in the t-zone. I have acne on a small localized area of my forehead. I have a feeling it might even be cosmetic acne (means i caused it by using too many products), because it won%26#039;t go away and they%26#039;re inflamed itchy bumps not whiteheads or black heads. I stopped using so many products and switching constantly; my face has gotten a little better, but the inflamed bumps on my forehead won%26#039;t go away. My face used to be really dry from all the acne things i would have on every minute of the day, but that%26#039;s gone too. So I just want to know what I should ask, what I should know. What if he/she recommends something I%26#039;ve used already?|||Settle down.. Its awesome that your going to the derma tomorrow.
Let her/him do their job. They know what they%26#039;re doing.
Perhaps they will prescribe a tube of Retin - A .. or some other cream.
Retin - A is a pretty good cream. Actually, its awesome.
IF its looking like this derma isnt going to solve your problem.. STAY THERE UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED.. they can pull a prescription out of their butt.. sometimes you just need to tug on the %26quot;But Doc, I%26#039;m super concerned!%26quot; rope to get it out .... One that works EVERYTIME .. if I want a quick remedy i say %26quot;I HAVE A DATE NEXT WEEK DOC!!!! PLEASE, HELP!!!%26quot; ... then let him pull out a magic trick.
Good Luck|||I would make sure to tell her from the beginning that you have tried all sorts of products and you are at the end of your rope. You are paying this doctor, take control of the visit. So many people are afraid to question a doctors opinion...but you hired them! I actually found a great combination at my local walmart store by neutragina. I dont know the exact name of the washes, but if your next stuff doesnt work let me know and I will run upstairs and get the names of them for you:)
