I also have terrible back acne and chest acne!!! I can%26#039;t change in front of anybody in gym ro volleyball ebcause I have so much acne on my back!! I hate it so much and it%26#039;s come to the point where I have so much acne my friend asked me today if I%26#039;m taking care of my skin. I feel like crying because I have so much and all the other girls have barely anything.

I know for sure it%26#039;s my gentics because my older brother has so much acne on his face and back and he still has it he%26#039;s 17. And I know sure it%26#039;s form ym mom because she has so many acne scars on ehr face and back. I%26#039;m only 14 and I have SO MCUH. I have to wear so much foundation just to cover it and it doesn%26#039;t even look good! I just wwant clear smooth skin but my mom won%26#039;t take me to a dermatologist and I don%26#039;t have a job or money. I just want clear skin so bad I have had pimples since GRADE 5 and I started getting bacne in GRADE 7!! PLEASE HELPE ME I need to go on a pill for acne!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!|||Will she take you to your family doctor at all? Because they usually give you referrals, And when being referred that might make your mom realize that this is a bigger issue than she actually believes.. Also you don%26#039;t necessarily need to see a dermatologist, as your family doctor can usually prescribe things to help or even cure the effects before needing the assistance of a specialist..

As much as you would like to take pills in my experience, they don%26#039;t always help and have caused me more nausea and frustration than they have actually helped. Plus some of the medications on the market have some serious side effects and are kind of scary which is maybe what your mom is scared about?

IF the family doctor is out of the question, find over the counter cleansers, and astringents with either benzoyl peroxide, or salicylic acid.. benzoyl peroxide is helpful as it cleanses the pore to allow oxygen in. It also helps in the ridding the follicle of dead skin cells, which is also what salicylic acid is best known for doing as well. Both of these those dry out your skin, so my suggestion is to first use a cleanser to clean your face, then use an astringent and follow with a hypo-allergenic face lotion. Drying out your skin too much will cause your skin to produce more oil to compensate, causing your pores to clog and creating more acne. So ensure you use a moisturizer!!

Also if you%26#039;re using makeup, use a makeup remover to ensure you get the majority of the gunk of your face, so that your pores can really be cleansed properly.

Lastly.. sometimes just washing your bedding more often can help as your skin is in constant contact with it every night and bacteria can build up!

I hope this is helpful and hopefully your mom come around, if not just know that others have been where you are and sometimes it is something you just have to grow out of! Just keep smiling and try not to stress, stress usually causes breakouts too!

Oh and one last thing.. fake and bake tanning is really not good for your skin at all.. Early morning sun or even real sun is 100 times better for you if you want to try the tanning solution, It sometimes works but your skin is already sensitive enough that exposing yourself is probably not the best solution!!

Good Luck!!|||I understand

I don%26#039;t have acne on my face so much or as severe, but I have had back acne and chest acne since grade 7, and I%26#039;m in grade 10. But it is slowly getting better (it always gets better in the summer though)

My acne gets better when i lie in the sun, it dries it out. Maybe try tanning and in the winter, go to a tanning salon.

I know it%26#039;s bad for your skin, but maybe it will help dry it out

You should confront your mom and just cry and make her see how upset you are about having all the acne.

I knew a girl who had acne like yours, WORSE it was so bad you couldn%26#039;t even see her face. But it went away before high school so there is hope!

Make her see how upset you are and if she still doesn%26#039;t let up, get a job babysitting or anything you can and just pay for it yourself

Also maybe try some over the counter acne medicated cream, or some face wash that contains salycic acid.

I hope this advice helps and I understand how much it sucks to have acne.

Good Luck :)
