Should i see a dermatologist?

i%26#039;m 14 and i%26#039;ve had acne since i was 11. its a little bit more than moderate and it can be covered up with makeup but i am sooo sick of spending all the time covering it up. i%26#039;ve tried proactiv, neutrogena advanced solutions, stridex ( think thats what its called...those little pad things), and im using clean and clear right now but i dont really think its helping. my face is never totally clear and its starting to take a toll on my confidence. my mom uses proactiv and it works great on her and she gets so frustrated when i tell her it doesnt work for me (and it REALLY dries my skin out).

i only want to see a dermatologist if i HAVE to, mostly because of money, and im scared to ask my mom. do you know how much it costs? AND do you think i should go or do you know other options that may work for me?|||Without insurance it%26#039;s going to be pretty expensive. With, well, might as well ask your mom. But you shouldn%26#039;t see one unless you have really bad acne. At your age, acne is very very common. If you don%26#039;t see it ease up within a few years, then it might be time to see a dermatologist.

Maybe this article can help if you decide to see one now:

http://www.clearskinacne.com/professiona鈥?/a>|||it is a common problem for girls of your age.you should consult a doctor if acne are too much.consult a dermatologist,as it is not going to cost much now(in initial stages)but later on if they become problematic, that treatment might cost your mom a fortune.so ask your mom to take you to a doctor
