Does medicaid cover seeing a dermatologist?

I have spots on my back, face and arms that don%26#039;t tan in the summer, they%26#039;re caused by years of sundamage. I%26#039;m 21 ans really love to swim but now I%26#039;m afraid to even wear a swim suit. I%26#039;m on medicaid, I have paramont advantage do they cover seeing a derm?|||Medicaid covers specialty dr visits. You probably need a referral form from your general doctor.|||Only if your primary care doctor will refer you. If you do not have a primary care listed on your card, then I would call the Medicaid office. Medicaid is VERY strict on what it pays, and its doubtful that unless something were symptomatic or harmful they wouldn%26#039;t see you for just cosmetic reasons.|||not if its for cosmetic reasons. you%26#039;ll need a recommendation and a referral for it to be approved and probably approved through medicaid in advance. But i guarantee if its cosmetic they wont cover it.|||i had medicaid and the limitations get tougher after you turn 20 or 21. i really do not believe this is covered. its more for cosmetics than health.|||yeah they pretty much consider anything with the appearance of your skin as %26quot;cosmetic%26quot; and won%26#039;t cover it|||probably not since medicaid is state funded.............|||yes if you have a problem, not just for cosmetic needs|||call them and ask
