i had tests done from urology a month ago, because i went about having frequent urination - my bladder never seeming to empty - and pains in my bladder - but the tests done, all came back clear saying i will be reviewed again in 3 months..
so the urologist said i was clear with their tests.
im waiting for a follow up appointment with a dermatologist ( tommorrow ) after the first one was abrupt and dismissive of the complaint.....told me it was nothing.
ive been checked out at the sexual health clinic months back who told me it was nothing, they couldnt find anything on the test......but to go to my doctor to maybe refer to a dermatologist.
the problem and concerns i have is regarding my penis, when erect, its only just about 6 inches or maybe just below.
plus the head of my penis is small, alot ive seen have a big mushroom , broad appearence........mine doesnt but is flat.
also the reason im seeing the dermatologist is because the skin covering the head of my penis is all torn and cracked.....the surface of the skin is all cracked......it looks very unusual.
normally the head of a male penis as a smooth baby skin appearence.
mine is all cracked, like little tears covering the head part.
the dermatologist said she didnt think it was a skin disorder, she didnt know if the cracks will eventually clear but said they might %26#039; reduce %26#039; in time..
meanwhile she reccommended i use simple emoliants to wash down below.
she also refered me to have pictures taken of the skin to be sent of to a specialist for more reccommendations..
i have to see the dermatologist again in a couple of weeks for the outcome of that..
im 30 years old now and im really anxious about this problem.....as a man i feel very inadequete and inferior..
i hope to god, i pray that the cracked skin will clear up in time.....the not knowing is really tormenting me.
can anyone offer me advise or hope about this ?
i have my forskin.......the condition doesnt hurt...im very sensitive down there.......i can get erections ok...
i have a forskin, but the skin covering %26#039; the head %26#039; of my penis is still all cracked and teared.
and i mean the head of my penis not the forskin - and there not just wrinkles that smooth out when im erect , the skin is actually cracked and fissured
btw - the cracks and tears on the head of my penis dont itch at all, they just feel very sensitive.
also i was checked for diabetes a couple of months ago the tests were clear.
i see her this thursday , to be honest im scared ill be dismissed again like past authority figures have been.
she would of had the opinion of the other dermatologist hopefully from london, where the pictures were sent off to.
im really anxious that just like in the past ill be dismissed and no investigations will be done, and this problem wont be gotten to the bottom of..
the head of my penis, covering it , the skin is all cracked , and teared -
almost like looking at the surface of an orange.
please i need to know what ill do if im dismissed again ?|||I already answered you before, but you just ignored what I said as you asked again. I trained in skin care and if you get cream on prescription they will just give you rubbish paraffin cream but all that does is put a plastic layer on your skin to stop moisture escaping.
You need to nourish your skin, and the only things that will sink into your skin are natural oils. Even Palmer%26#039;s creams that you can get from Boots or superdrug is better than the creams they will give you on prescription http://www.etbrowne.com/
Or the Body Shop have some good body butters. Or Bio-oil is good http://www.bio-oil-direct.co.uk/
Many moisturisers on the market contain an amount of liquid paraffin because it%26#039;s a cheap product from oil, but they also contain an amount of natural oils which will sink into your skin.
The Body Shop usually just use natural oils and something like this coconut body lotion would be ideal:

If you have sensitive skin, this Aloe Soothing night Cream on page 2 would be ideal: http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/icat/scsens鈥?/a>
I don%26#039;t know why you keep asking if you%26#039;re just going to ignore the advice.|||You don%26#039;t say if you are circumcised. If you are, maybe your clothes have been chafing. If you are not, the head of the penis should normally not be exposed to chafing from clothes, so this does suggest some problem, especially if you are following advice and washing with suitable emollients. I do think a dermatologist should take you seriously. There may be some allergy to textiles ( clothes) or to some soap or creams you may be using.
I do wish men would stop going on and on about the size of their penises. After all, very few heterosexual men see as many other men erect as women do. You may not be huge, but I, certainly, have seen plenty smaller. What men simply do not realise - or do not want to realise - is that SIZE IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS TECHNIQUE and never will be. For many women, the most important bit of a man%26#039;s anatomy is the prominence of the pubic bone just above the base of the penis. It is this area which gives women the friction they need to reach climax. A man can have a penis the size of a tube of three tennis balls ( yes, I have seen one - he was an arab ) but if that pubic bone is depressed rather than raised he will be worse than useless. Too big can really hurt !
